The death has occurred of
John Barrett
Barrett (Compass Hill, Kinsale) on October 14th 2024, peacefully and gracefully, at Marymount Hospice and surrounded by his loving children. John, beloved husband of the late Monica (nee Murphy), and dear father of Ayesha and Harry and brother of the late Ann, Brenda and Mary.
Sadly missed by his loving family, brother William, sister Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
John's Funeral Cortege will leave his home on Thursday at 1.30pm approx. en route to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for Requiem Mass at 2pm which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, and after the Funeral Mass, John's cortege will proceed in the traditional route through Kinsale town, pausing at Barrett Butchers and will proceed as far as Perryville.
Private Cremation on Friday.
