John Barrett

John Barrett, Tuam Road, Mountbellew, Co. Galway, (formerly Barrett's Garage, Newtown), Wednesday 12th May 2021, peacefully in Galway Clinic Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family on his 81st Birthday. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Rita, sons David and Sean, daughter Attracta, son in law Jimmy, daughters in law June, Caroline, sister Mary, adored grandchildren Daniel, Zoe, Samuel, Nollaig, Sarah, Maria, Clodagh, Fiachra and Aidan, brother in law Eddie and wife Myra, all his relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Due to current government restrictions regarding public gatherings, John's Funeral Mass will take place for family and close friends in St. Mary's Church, Mountbellew on Saturday, 15th May, at 11.00am with burial afterwards in the new cemetery, Mountbellew.  Mass will be broadcast on Mountbellew Moylough Parish radio, 105.1FM.
