John Barrett

John Barrett, 34 Seaside, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Glencastle, Bunnahowen, Belmullet peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar surrounded by his loving family on 30th October 2024. Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen Barrett. Beloved husband of Sadie, dear father to Georgina, Stephen and Ivan, cherished grandfather to Niamh, Eliza, Áine and Paddy and father in law to Gabby. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, sisters Mary Gaughan (Tallaghbawn, Doohoma), Kay Carey (Glencastle, Bunnahowen, Belmullet), Breege Kilbane (Dooega, Achill) and Rose Clifford (Luton, England), brothers in law, sister in law, uncle John Barrett (York), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at his residence, 34 Seaside, Belmullet (Eircode - F26 F856) on Friday evening from 6 O’Clock until 9 O’Clock and on Saturday afternoon from 2 O’Clock until 6 O’Clock. Funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet on Sunday morning for Funeral Mass at 10.30, followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
