John Barry

Peacefully in the presence of his family and in the exceptional care of all at Bons Secours Hospital, Cork. Beloved husband of Kal (nee Murphy) much loved father of Johnny, David and Stephen and dear brother of the late Breda McElroy. John will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters in law Corinne, Alison and Amy, grandchildren Kate, Lily, Laura, Isla, Arlo and Bailey, brother-in-law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and great friends.

John will repose at Cahill’s Funeral Home, Newtown Rd., Cobh P24Y383 on Friday August 16th from 4.30pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Reception into St. Colman’s Cathedral on Saturday August 17th at 10.45am for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Old Church Cemetery.
