John Barry

On 6th March 2023, on his 88th Birthday, peacefully at his home in the wonderful care of his family, John Barry, devoted husband and best friend of the late Margaret (née Holland) and beloved father of David, Teresa, Stephen, Patricia, Deirdre, Josephine and Kevin, brother of Eileen, Paddy, Frank, Christy and the late Bridie. Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Noreen, Cathy and Gillian, sons-in-law Geno, James and Garry, his 23 adored grandchildren, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and large circle of friends and neighbours.

Lying in repose at Daly's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague (P47 VY18) on Tuesday, 7th March from 5pm to 8pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. John's funeral cortege will arrive at The Holy Family Church, Caheragh (P47 Y886) on Wednesday, 8th March at 12 noon followed for Requiem Mass at 2pm (livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals). Burial afterwards in Caheragh New Cemetery.
