John Black

Black, John (Cavan and formerly from Tallaght) passed peacefully, at Mater Hospital, with his family by his side, on the 9th April 2026, following an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his dear parents Helen and John.

Beloved husband and best friend of Michelle and loving dad to David and Riley, and their partners Jasmine and Charlie. John will be forever loved and always remembered by his family, brother Martin, sister-in-law Vicky, extended family and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in his mother-in-law’s home on Tuesday (14th April) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday (15th April) at 10am, in St Aengus Church, Tallaght, following onto Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Family flowers only please.

John’s family have asked that those whom attend the Funeral Mass, wear bright colours or football jerseys, to celebrate Johns love of life.
