John (Bossa) Smith

Smith John (Bossa) (Cabra West, Dublin) – 10th September 2025 (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Ann. Predeceased by his grandson Gavin and daughter-in-law Aine. John will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his children Liz, Suzanne, Anita, John and Jason, grandchildren Michael, Gavin, Florina, Jonathan, Rebecca, Ross, Abbie, Anthony, Cian, Caitlyn and Ashton, great-grandchildren Tegan, Calvin, Callum and Myla-Lee, Jason’s partner Ella and John’s partner Ashleigh, sons-in-law John, Mark and James, sister Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours and beloved family dog Charlie.

Reposing at Lanigans Funeral Home, Faussagh Avenue, Cabra on Saturday 13th September between 2pm – 5pm. House private please. Removal on Monday 15th September to the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Cabra West arriving for 10.15am Mass, followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery. Please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of the page. Donations if desired to the Irish Kidney Association.
