John passed away peacefully in the tender care of staff at University Hospital Waterford on Saturday 18th January, 2025. Predeceased by his wife Bridget.

John is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his sons Liam and Patrick, daughter Anne-Marie (New York), daughters-in-law Lena Penon and Viv Brogan, stepdaughter Jane Dwyer (New York), grandchildren Shannon Louise Brogan and Alexander Helbo Brogan, brothers Michael and Thomas, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

John will be reposing at his home in Ballinamuck (X35 VX09) on Wednesday evening, 29th January from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday morning, 30th January, in St. Mary's Parish Church, Dungarvan. Interment afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Touraneena.
