BROWNE John (Clonsilla, Dublin and formerly of Mill Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin) March 5th, 2026 (suddenly but peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the loving care of the staff at The Mater Hospital. John, beloved husband of Colette and cherished father of Katie and dear brother of Pat, Bernard, Ellen, Liam, Bernie, Martina, Anna, Trisha and the late Marion.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, father-in-law Noel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, his best buddy Hudson, colleagues at Dublin Bus and his many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla on Monday evening (March 9th) from 6pm and 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning (March 10th) to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.

It was John’s wish that anyone attending his funeral would wear bright colours to reflect his personality.
