The death has occurred of
John Burke
John Burke (Balally, Dublin and formerly of Cross East, Co.Mayo) – April 13th, 2026. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Burke (née Kenny), much-loved father of Ailish, Owen and Brian, predeceased by his partner Roisin Miller, and brothers Jim and Paddy.
Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, sister Mary, son-in-law Eddie, daughter-in-law Edel and Owen’s partner Naomh, grandchildren Beth, Ava, Tom, Ali, Bella, Finn and Daithi, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he Rest in Peace
Removal on Friday morning to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter by burial in Rahoon Cemetery, Rahoon Road, Galway arriving at 2.30pm approximately.
