The death has occurred of
John BUTTIMER
BUTTIMER, Enniskeane, On February 7th 2025, JOHN, passed away peacefully at his home, The Paddock, in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of the late Kay (née O’Driscoll), much loved father of Marie (Lucey), Patricia (McCarthy), Catherine (Cotter), Angela (Deasy), Irene (Murphy), Edel (Allen), and John. Predeceased by his brother Jerry, sister Nora Bullman, grandchildren Claire and Jonah.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons-is-law Jim, Tomás, Brian, JJ, Jeremy, Humphrey , daughter-in-law Eunice (O’Regan), much loved grandchildren Brian, John, Kate, Aoife, Ciarán, Gráinne, Ronan, James, Ciara, Orlaith, Aoibheann, Niamh, Róisin, Jerry, Katelyn, Euan, Evelyn, Eliza and Thomas, great- grandsons TJ and Odhran, sister Mary Cross, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O’Mahony’s’ funeral home, Enniskeane on Sunday evening (9th Feb.) from 5.30pm until Prayers at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, Castletown-Kinneigh followed by burial after in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Mr Paul Sweeney and Dr Derek Power and staff of Mercy University Hospital, GPs of Ballineen and Enniskeane Primary Health Care Centre, Catriona and team at O’Riordan’s Pharmacy, public health nurses, home help and the Community Palliative care team and Daffodil nurses.
