John Byrne

John Byrne, Rushbrook, Dublin 15, and formerly of Aughrim, Co. Wicklow, died peacefully in the presence of his family on 2nd November 2024. Beloved husband of Breda (née Shannon), father of Lara and Nickie and grandfather of Frankie, Bobby, Tom, Edith and Oscar. Pre-deceased by his sister Mella. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, sisters Bridget, Eithne and Mary, brothers Gary, Jimmy and Billy, sons-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

John will be reposing at Byrne’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Aughrim, Co. Wicklow, Y14T9C4 on Tuesday 5th November from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 6th November at 11am at St Bridget’s Church, Annacurra, Co. Wicklow, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
