John Carmody

John Carmody of Crotta, Lixnaw and formerly Liscahane, Ardfert, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on 11th March 2024, beloved husband of the late Mary, adored father of Hannah May, Catherine, Jeremiah, Patrick and the late Martina and dear grandfather of Christina, Jonathan, Nicole, Olivia, Anna, Emma, Sabrina, Sandra, Emmett and the late Lee.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his great-grandchildren Lee, Cory, Rafferty, Ava, Saoirse & Clodagh, sons-in-law Danny & Martin, daughter-in-law Denise, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Friday (15th March) from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Kilflynn on Saturday morning where the Requiem Mass for John will be celebrated at 10.00 a.m. (streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/Kilflynn). Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kilflynn.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Irish Deaf Society & The National Council for the Blind of Ireland (Tralee Branch, 5 Ashe Street, Tralee), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
