John Carnew Benbawn, Kill, Cootehill, Co Cavan.

 

Passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Thursday the 20th of November 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

 

Recently predeceased by his sister Florence.

 

Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by his loving wife Florrie, daughter Julie (John Ortt) and sons Jonathan (Angela) and Ronnie (Cora) his cherished grandchildren Lewis, Dylan, Isla, Charlie, Annabel, Ollie, Rian and Shay.

 

Brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and a wonderful circle of neighbours.

 

Resting at his family home Benbawn, Kill, Cootehill, Co Cavan (H16WD32) on Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd of November from 3pm until 9pm.

 

House private to family and neighbours on the morning of the funeral.

 

Removal leaving his home on Sunday the 23rd of November at 1:30pm to arrive at Kilmount Presbyterian Church (H16PF76) for 2pm funeral service followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to Kilmount Presbyterian Church C/O George Hall Funeral Director.
