John Carrig, Doonard Upper, Tarbert, Co. Kerry. John passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of Lystoll Lodge Nursing Home, Listowel on February 17th 2026. John is predeceased by his parents John and Rose (nee Mangan) and his brothers Val and Buddy. John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving brother Stephen, his uncle Eddie, his sisters-in-law Eileen, Mary and Madeline, his nephews John and Stephen, his nieces Catherine, Lorraine, Rosemary, Ellen and Roseann, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

John will repose at St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Tarbert on this Thursday evening (February 19th) from 6pm until 8pm. John’s Funeral Cortege will depart his home in Doonard on Friday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Tarbert for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment to follow at Kilnaughtin Cemetery, Tarbert.
