John Casey

John died suddenly at his home on May 15th 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rita and his brother Joe.

John will be sadly missed and always remembered with love by his family, his heartbroken daughter Genevieve, son-in-law Vincent, his adored grandchildren Sadhbh and Bríain, sisters Phil (Roscommon) and Sheila (Roscommon), brothers Tom (Dublin) and Alfie (Limerick), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, his wonderful neighbours and friends.

We will hold you close within our hearts
And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66 on Saturday 17th from 5pm concluding with prayers at 6.30pm.

Removal from his home on Sunday 18th to arrive to the Sacred Heart Church, Carrickedmond for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Following Mass, John will be laid to rest in the family plot in Abbeyderg Cemetery.
