The death has occurred of
John Charles Duffy
The peaceful death has taken place at his home on Tuesday 21st February 2023 of John Charles Duffy, Augheygault, Drumkeen F93 DNR2 and formerly from Lower Main Street, Letterkenny.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Maureen, daughters Louise, Susan McCarthy (Glen, Carrigart), Aileen, and Claire Vance, sons Ciarán, Charles, Pascal (Chicago) and Pauric, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters Mary McCoy (London) and Annette Duffy (Letterkenny), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
John Charles is predeceased by his granddaughter Gemma Grace (Philadelphia) and his brother James (Letterkenny).
Rest in Peace
John Charles’ remains will be reposing at his late residence on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd February from 2pm until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral please.
Funeral from there on Friday 24th February at 11.15am going to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Society of the St. Vincent de Paul c/o any family member.
