John Christy

The death has occurred of John Christy, Alicante, Spain, formerly of Bree, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully at his home in Alicante, Spain Monday the 23rd February 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Farina and his parents Jack and Alice Christy.

John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving son Richard, daughter-in-law Dyanna, cherished grandchildren, Fiona and Ronan, sisters Theresa, Ann and Elanor, brothers Pat and Kevin, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family neighbours and friends.

A Mass in remembrance of John will be arranged at a later date.
