John Cleary, Forest Hills, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, formerly of Windmill Road, Crumlin and Emerald Square, Dublin 8 and ex 11th Field Engineer Company, Clancy Barracks, Dublin and 62nd Field Engineer Company, McKee Barracks, Dublin.

Passed away peacefully on 7th January surrounded by his loving family, in the expert and devoted care of the staff on the Webb Ward at Tallaght University Hospital. Pre-deceased by his brother Con. Dearly missed by his beloved wife Joan, cherished children Gillian, Jennifer, David and Lesley, sons-in-law Joe and Caolán, daughter-in-law Deirdre, sister Jean, brother Ray, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Patricia, much loved Grandchildren Jack, Molly, Ellie, Lucy, Grace, Alfie, Tilly, Tom, Danny and Sophie, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and comrades.

Reposing on Thursday, 13th January from 6pm to 8pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas (Eircode W91 VY71). Funeral mass will take place on Friday, 14th January, at 11am in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saggart, Co. Dublin.
