John Coleman

Coleman (Shamrock Terrace, Blarney, Co. Cork), on August, 30th 2025, peacefully, after a short illness and in the presence of his loving family at The Mercy University Hospital; John (late of Eircom [formerly P&T] and Blarney United F.C.), beloved son of the late Mary and Paddy and much loved brother of David, Brendan and Mary.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken brothers, sister, sister-in-law Karen, nieces, nephews, uncle David, long standing friend Keshari, cousins, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends. John’s family is eternally grateful to all at St. Catherine’s Ward and The Oncology Dept. M.U.H. and The Marymount Hospice Team.

Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday September 2nd from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Cremation Service at The Island Crematorium on Wednesday September 3rd at 1.00pm, which will be live-streamed on www.islandcrematorium.ie

Those attending Services at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home and at The Island Crematorium are asked to wear bright clothing as a celebration of John’s life.
