John Colohan

John (Séan) Colohan (Francis Street, Dublin 8 and late of Powerscourt, Dublin 2) passed away peacefully on 12th January, 2026, in the care of the Staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis, brothers Seamus, Michael, Paddy, Peter and sisters Tessie and Catherine.

He will be sadly missed by his loving son Anthony, daughter-in-law Deirdre, granddaughters Ellen and Aoife, great granddaughter Eabha, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm Wednesday afternoon.

John’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning in the Church of St. Nicholas of Myra, Francis Street at 11.30am (live streamed, see link below) followed by burial thereafter at Palmerstown Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donation in lieu, if desired, to St Francis Hospice.
