CONNOLLY (Silverdale, Ballinlough, Cork and late of Shantalla, Galway): On November 26th 2025, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the Stroke Unit, Cork University Hospital, JOHN (late of C.I.E. Irish Rail and The Kingsley Hotel), dearly beloved husband of Maisie (née Ryan), much loved dad of Fiona, Seán, Barry, Sinéad, Eoghan and Martin, adored grandad of Stephen, Laura, Gavin, Meghan, Emma, Alan, Michael, Eva, Anna, Martha, Alex, Ryan and Jay and great-grandad of Kyle, Bobby and Elle, dear brother of Ann and William (U.S.A.), predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, brothers Tom (U.S.A.) and Jimmy, sisters Mary, Patricia and Peg.

Lovingly remembered by his wife and family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Friday (November 28th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (November 29th) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock which will be live streamed
