John Connolly

The death has occurred of John Connolly, Cloniston, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Tuesday 25th March 2025, suddenly, unexpectedly and peacefully in the Mater Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Willie and Cassie and his father-in-law Jimmy.

 

Much loved husband of Celine and adored father of Lorraine (William Carey, Rochfortbridge) and Mark (Lorraine). John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, son, son-in-law, cherished grandchildren, Kate, Ava-Jane, Liam Óg and James, sisters, Mary and Catherine and Mary's husband Brendan Devlin, and their daughters, Caroline and Alison, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, GAA family, work colleagues, neighbours, wide circle of friends and by all who knew and loved John.

John will resting at the family home, Cloniston, Clones, Wednesday 26th from 6pm to 9pm, and again Thursday, 27th from 3pm to 9pm with removal on Friday morning, 28th March, at 11.45 arriving to St Alphonsus Church, Connons for 12.30pm Funeral Mass followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3.30pm www.churchservices.tv/lakelands
