Unexpectedly but peacefully on 5th December 2025 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Husband of the late Sally, loving father of Sinéad & the late Paul, adored grandfather of Rebecca & much loved brother of Michael, James, Andrew & the late Eileen & May. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughter, granddaughter, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home from 3pm until 5pm on Sunday.

A service in celebration of John’s life will be held at the funeral home at 11 o’clock on Monday. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
