The death has occurred of John Cunningham, Cree East, Kilrush, Co. Clare on Thursday 26th March, 2026.
John, passed away peacefully under the exceptional care of the staff at St. Theresa’s nursing home, Kilrush.
He is predeceased by his father Jack, mother Kathleen and brother-in-law Michael Joe Cahill.
John will be dearly missed by his sisters, Mary Cahill and Bridie Cahill and his brother Michael (Mick), Brother-in-law Josie, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and special friends.

John's remains will repose this Saturday 28th of March in St. Mary’s Church, Cree, from 5 o’clock with Prayers at 6:30 pm.
His Funeral Mass will be on Sunday 29th at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Leitrim cemetery.
