28th October 2023 (suddenly) at Sligo University Hospital.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Orla (née McGarry), adored children Alice, Cara and Leon, cherished son of Margaret and John, loving brother to Sinead (Lucan), Emma (Kildalkey) and Lorraine (Longford), mother-in-law Kathleen, sisters-in-law Fiona (Carlow) and Linda (Dublin), brothers-in-law Henry, Owen, Joe and Patrick (Carrick-on-Shannon), uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
The one and only John D. Flynn.
Rest in Peace and we will forever look at the stars and think of you.
John will repose on Wednesday evening from 4 pm until 7pm at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62).
Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon, on Thursday morning arriving for Mass of Christian Burial
at 12 noon, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon.
