John DALY

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Daly, Knockaneady, Ballineen, Co. Cork on 16th November 2023. John passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the ICU staff at Mercy University Hospital Cork. John will be sadly missed by his wife Marie (née Bennett), sons Christopher, Peter and John Bob, sisters Kathleen, Sheila and Eilish, brothers in law Billy, Joe, Mícheál and Anthony, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. He was a selfless and loving Dad and husband and will be terribly missed.

Visitation on Sunday 19th November at O’Mahony’s Funeral Home, Enniskeane from 4pm to 5:30pm.

Requiem mass on Monday 20th November in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane at 12 noon
with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

O Lord, support us all the day long, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in thy mercy grant us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at the last.
