DALY (Cork) On 18th February 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully, in the presence of his loving wife and family and in the tender and exceptional care of the staff at Cork University Hospital, JOHN, late of Myrtleville. Dearly beloved husband of 65 years to Noreen (nee Board), much loved father of Joan and Ken, devoted grandad of Sarah and Shane and great grandad of Freddie and Bobby.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, family, Joan’s partner Dan, daughter-in-law Barbara, Sarah’s partner Dave, Shane’s wife Gwen, close family and neighbours, especially wonderful friend and neighbour Mary.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Monday (23rd February) from 10.00am, family in attendance at 4.00pm with Prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (24th February) at 11.00am in St. Brigid’s Church, Crosshaven. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy. Family flowers only.
