John David Martin

MARTIN: Long Beach, California U.S.A., and Lismore, Co. Waterford.

John David Martin born January 31st 2008 Long Beach, California

and died January 24th 2023 age 14 years old.

 

Lismore was a second home where John spent every Summer and some Easter breaks with his family.

 

Loving grandson of the late Patrick (Paddy) Whelan (Lismore) and

Hattie Martin (California).

 

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents, Andrew and Debbie (nee Whelan-formerly of Ferry Lane, Lismore), grandfather Dick Martin (California, U.S.A), Ann Whelan (Lismore), aunts and uncles, Karen and Paddy Nugent, Kevin and Sandra Whelan, Paul and Bridget Whelan, Caroline Whelan, Mark and Sylvia Whelan, cousins, Dean and his wife Becky, Adam, Naomi, Josh, Conor, Sean, Caoimhe, Patrick, Niamh, Daniel, Olivia and Ollie, grand aunts, grand uncles, cousins, the extended Whelan family (Lismore) and Martin family (U.S.A), relatives, neighbours and friends.

Memorial Mass will be held on Friday morning 21st July 2023

at 11.00am in St. Carthage’s Church Lismore,

followed by burial in St. Carthage’s Cemetery.
