John Deacy

On December 1st 2023, John passed unexpectedly but peacefully at Bantry General Hospital. Beloved husband of Carmel (née O'Donovan), loving father of Giles, Oscar, Ashley and Leatitia, dear brother of Kay, T.J., Martin, Chris, Joe and Margaret, devoted grandad of Henry, Liam, Darragh, Maeve, Caoimhe, Amelia and Donagh, father-in-law of Elmarie, Ann-Marie and Denis. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday December 3rd from 6pm to 7.30pm with vigil prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday December 4th at 2pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Durrus (to view live stream click here) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
