John Declan Rooney

ROONEY John Declan (of Donaghmede, Dublin 13), (late of Unidare), passed unexpectedly but peacefully at home on March 4th 2024. Beloved son of the late Anne and James, loving brother of Madeleine, Maria and the late Angela, brother-in-law to Jim and the late Sean, uncle to Darren, Tanya, Angela, Robert, Damian, Keith, Douglas and Alan, great uncle to Sheena, Tara, James and Catherine. Very sadly missed by all his extended family, friends and neighbours, especially Pat and Maureen.

Family flowers only. Donations, in Declan’s memory, can be made to either Arthritis Ireland or a charity of your own choice.

 

Declan will be reposing in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Maypark on Thursday afternoon, 14th March, from 3pm to 5pm.

 

Removal on Friday morning, 15th March, to Holy Trinity Church, Donaghmede for 10am Funeral Mass followed with a burial at St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
