John Denny O'Brien
O’BRIEN (Sams Cross, Clonakilty): on March 29th 2026 peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the amazing care of the staff in the Dochas Ward at Clonakilty Community Hospital. JOHN DENNY beloved husband of Anne (nee Doherty), much loved father of Sinéad (McCarthy), Michael, Daniel, Sean, Isobell (Lyons), Áine (Harte) and Séamus, brother of the late Mary, Peggy, Dan, Jo, Jimmy, Nancy and Miley. Sadly missed by his wife, family, sister Kay (Calnan), sons-in-law Noel, Stephen and Jack, daughters-in-law Pauline, Sarah and Orla, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Laoise, Shay, Ciarán, Rory, Emily, Aoibhín, J.D., Darragh, Oisín, Peggy, Phoebe, Lucy and Sophie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Monday, March 30th 2026 from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, March 31st 2026 at 11.30am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Lisavaird. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
