John Desmond

John (formerly of Coillte) passed peacefully in the loving care of the staff at University Hospital Galway. Much loved husband of his recently deceased wife Peggy, father of Brendan, Niall, John, Anne, Colm, Paul and brother of Jerry and Con. John will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, brothers, daughters-in-law Joan, Breíd, Fionnuala, Leonie and Mary, son in law Marty, grandchildren Eva, Jamie, Laura, Shane, Aaron, Kate, Kevin, Aindriú, Cara, David, Eoghan, Sarah, Clíodhna, Isabelle, Romy, Seán and Rory, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at his residence in Ard Mhuire, Ballinasloe H53 VX99, on Tuesday (3rd October) from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe, for Requiem Mass at 11am. John will be laid to rest afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
