John DEVANEY
John Devaney
Annaghmore, Gurteen, Co. Sligo and formerly of Cunnagher, Ross, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and Manchester, England. February 1st 2022; Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Kate and Jimmy, brother Paddy and uncle Tommy.
John will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Rita, daughters Julie and Angela, brothers Martin and Jimmy, sisters Helen, Mary and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
A special thanks to Michael, Patricia, Bridie and Tom.

John will repose at O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen, on Thursday (February 3rd) from 5:30pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Friday to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Carrentemple Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen
