John Dignam

Dignam John Anthony, Baskin, Dublin. 1st February 2021. Passed away peacefully at the age of 73 in the wonderful care of the Mater Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Vera, adored father, grandfather, brother and friend. An incredible man with great strength and dignity, who devoted his life to his family.  He will be sorely missed by his heartbroken sons Raymond and Alec, daughter Jacqueline, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Claire and Lauren, grandchildren Laura, Shawn, Aaron, Karla, Beth and Molly, brothers and sisters, extended family and many many friends and neighbours. He is now reunited with his late parents and family that have gone before him.

In life we loved you dearly in death we love you still in our hearts you hold a place no one else will ever fill

Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family Funeral Service will take place. To those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave your condolences at the bottom of this page or send on condolences by traditional manner. Family flowers only please. If you would like to make a donation in John's name to the Mater Hospital foundation instead as John was looked after so well there for many years.
