Retired member of The Irish Defence Forces and Late of Egans Coaches.
February 2nd 2026 peacefully
In the wonderful care of the staff at Roscommon University Hospital,
surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his parents Eddie and Annie Teresa and his beloved brother Eamonn.
Beloved brother of Declan (Valerie), Joe, Michael (Carol) and his sister Aisling Stephenson (Brian). John will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews - Keith, Eoin, Evan, Shelly, Carah, Dylan, Andrew, Ciara, Jake, Emma, Oisin and Noah, great nieces and nephews Frankie, Miley, Chloe, Tommy, Jake and all his friends.
With special mention of his lifetime friends Padraig and Laura.
May his Gentle soul Rest in Peace.
John will repose at the home of his sister Aisling, Carrantemple, Gurteen, Co.Sligo. F56AX90
From 4pm-7pm Wednesday February 4th,
Funeral mass on Thursday February 5th at midday in St.Patrick's Church, Gurteen
followed by burial in Gurteen Cemetery.
