Peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, at home. Predeceased by his wife Aileen (nee Sillery), his parents James & Maureen & sister Maria. Beloved dad of Stephen, Helena & Joanne & treasured grandad of Jack, Rachael, Maya, Abbie, Lily, Sophie, Ruby & Myla, he will be sadly missed by his son, daughters, sons in law Stephen & Ian, grandchildren, brothers Shay, Tom & Andy and sisters Catherine, Muriel & Christine, extended family & friends.

John will be reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Thursday evening 15th May from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

The funeral cortège will leave from the family home on St. Patrick's Avenue on Friday morning at 11.30am walking to St. Patrick’s Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon, which can also be viewed by clicking on John's Funeral Mass after which John will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery.
