John Duane

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family on 5th August, 2023. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Duane and brother Paddy Egan. Cherished brother of Gerard Duane (Attymon), Mary O' Brien (Tullamore), Delia Cummins (Navan), Geraldine Kelly (Athenry) and Cepta McDonagh (Ennistymon). Sadly missed by his brothers in-law, Joe, Michael, JJ and Brian and sisters in-law Eileen and Bridgie, nephews Fergal, John, Joseph, Alan, Brian and Mattie, nieces Gillian, Maria, Olivia, Siobhan, Rachel, Triona, Orla, Eimear, Miriam, Aoife, Deirdre, Edel, Lorraine and Regina, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry, from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, August 8th. Arriving to St. Iomar's Church, Killimordaly H65 E761, on Wednesday 9th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to COPD (https://copd.ie/).
