John Duggan
John Duggan, Farnogue Heights, Wexford, and formerly of New Ross, Co. Wexford.
John Duggan 3rd April 1929 – 16th June 2024
Former Principal of New Ross Vocational School. Motorcyclist, karting champion, hillwalker, opera lover, aviator, and cyclist with Wexford Wheelers, John died peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Knockeen Nursing Home, Wexford.
John is mourned by his wife, Joan, daughter Derval, sons Daniel and Gregory, grandchildren Brigitte, Luke, Ellen, Liza, Esmée, Martha and Lara, his sisters Monica and Eileen, son-in-law Chris, daughters-in-law Mary and Abigail, Greg’s partner Annette and daughter Rachel, nieces and nephews, and by his many friends and colleagues.
Cremation will take place privately. Friends are invited to a celebration of John’s life, which will take place in Greenacres, Selskar Street, Wexford on Thursday, June 27th, at 2pm.
