John died on May 20th 2025, peacefully with his family, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, after a long illness bravely borne.He was predeceased by his infant son Brian, beloved parents, Kathleen and Laurence and brother Thomas.

John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife, Marion and family, Mariessa, Derek, Alana, Davina, Jonathan and Nikita, grandchildren, Ebony, Niamh, Molly, Kate, Zara, Millie and Nicolas, brothers, Pat, Joe, Willie, Christy, Larry, Manchan and Eddie, sisters, Nancy, Margaret, Kathleen, Christina and Sophie, sons-in-law Christy and Steven, daughters-in-law Leone and Gaby, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and his faithful friends Jake and Minnie.

Grant John Eternal Rest and Peace

John will repose at Teach Lea, Boora (R35 DA50) on Thursday (May 22nd) from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Friday morning (May 23rd) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am and may be viewed on http://www.ferbaneparish.ie.

Interment afterwards in Kilrehan Cemetery.
