John F. Garvey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John F. Garvey, Tullig, Filemore, Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry, who died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Anne’s Hospital/Hospice, Cahersiveen on Saturday, 29th November 2025.

John F. is predeceased by his parents Michael and Hannah, his brother Pádraig and sister Mary. He is survived by his daughters and son Claire, Michael and Maureen, daughter-in-law Lorraine, sons-in-law Mike O’Shea and John Donovan, adored grandchildren Shannon, Darragh, J.D., Ava, Robin, Abbie, Hayley, Lorna and Brian, sisters Sheila, Joan, Breda, Kitty and Eileen, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, good neighbours and wide circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Dalys Funeral Home, Cahersiveen (V23 NN59) on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am in the Church of Immaculate Conception, Filemore with burial afterwards in Keelavarnogue Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to St Anne’s Hospice Cahersiveen.
