The death has occurred of
John Farnan O'DOWD
John Farnan O’Dowd (Dublin/Bray) - April 2, 2023, in the care of the Mater Hospital ICU, after a long illness, bravely borne. Desperately missed by his husband Glen, aunts Margaret, Anne and Nora, cousins, godchildren, colleagues from Bon Secours Dublin and his many friends. Son of the late Nancy and Paddy O’Dowd of Ballina, Co. Mayo and Rathclaren, Bray, Co. Wicklow and nephew of late Mary Kelly. His loss is greatly felt by the Doherty, Canning and McLaughlin families of Derry.
Resting in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday evening (April 5) from 7pm to 8.30pm, visitors welcome. Service of Remembrance on Thursday, 6th April, at 3.00pm in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Irish Red Cross, Ukraine appeal. For those who are unable to attend, the service may also be viewed live on the following LINK.
He is free now and will live on in our hearts forever.
