John Filan

The death has occured of John Filan, No.97 Kingscourt, Castlepollard and formerly of Castleplunkett, Co. Roscommon and London England
John passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Mullingar Midlands Regional Hospital after a short illness.

Pre-deceased by his parents Luke and Angela, son Brian, daughter Sharon, brother Peter and sisters Eileen and Lily

John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, son Martin, daughter in-law Debbie, brother Padraig, sisters Mary, Angela and Patricia, his adored grand children Jack, Adam and Harry, nephews, nieces, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, extended family, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends

Reposing at Marbhlann (Midlands Regional Hospital Mortuary) Mullingar, Co. Westmeath Monday 22nd December from 4.15pm concluding with prayers at 5.45pm. Removal to St. Michael's Church, Castlepollard arriving for 6.30pm
Funeral Mass Tuesday 23rd at 12 noon, burial afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery

The family would like to thank all the staff in Surgical One, Mullingar Midlands Regional Hospital for their excellent care of John over the few days
