The death has occurred of
John FITZMAURICE
JOHN FITZMAURICE Racecourse Road, Roscommon Town and formerly of Ballymacfrane, Donamon, Co Roscommon. January 14th, 2024; (Peacefully), in his 100th year, in the devoted and loving care of the staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill. Beloved brother of the late Pat (Ballymacfrane), Jim (Castlerea), Thomas (England), Michael (Ballymacfrane), Joe (Ballymacfrane), Mary Horan (Racecourse Road, Roscommon), Chris Lally (England) and dear uncle of the late Philip Horan (Castlecoote). He will be very sadly missed by his sister-in-law Bridie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May John rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyths Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Clooneycolgan. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.
