John Fitzpatrick , Clonrollagh, Longford, (Retired National Teacher), peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on 1st March 2026.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Annie, sister Marie and by his brothers Eugene and Alfie.

 

John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Bridie, daughters Jacqueline Muldowney (Bornacoola), Joanne Quinn (Drumlish), Yvonne Bennett (Longford), Sinead Stenhouse (Aberdeen) and Marie McDonnell (Strokestown), sons Enda (Dublin) and John (Longford), sister Ann Fadden (Castlebar), brother Pat (Buffalo, New York), daughters-in-law Roisin and Caroline, sons-in-law John, Paddy, Damien, Craig and Michael, his 26 adored grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews ,relatives and friends.

 

May he rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday 3rd March from 5.30pm concluding with prayers at 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday 4th March in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Newtownforbes cemetery.
