John Fitzsimons Snow

The death has occurred of John Fitzsimons Snow "The Bomber", Ballinvalley, Oldcastle and formerly Stoney Road, Oldcastle. Peacefully, at his home following a short illness, bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughters Margaret, Colleen, Anne-Marie & Michelle (Shelly), parents John & Margaret & brother Michael. Loved & beloved husband of Eilish & much loved father of John, Christine, Aoife (Rachel), Niamh (Paddy), adored grandchildren Tamara, Elaoise, Christopher & their dad Tom, brothers Eamonn & Jimmy, sisters Margaret, Anna & Theresa, brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence today, Friday from 6pm - 9pm and tomorrow from 3pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle on Sunday 11.30am with burial afterwards in local cemetery.

Many thanks to all the staff in the Oncology Ward in Beaumont Hospital for the great care and devotion given to John during his illness. Also, thank you to GP Dr. Anne-Marie, nurses, carers and all that cared for John.
