Former Principal of Behy National School.

 

The death has occurred peacefully of John Flannery, surrounded by his loving family at his residence after a long illness, bravely borne.

 

John, predeceased by his father Michael and his mother Mary.

 

Beloved husband of Ann and loving father of Louise, Brian and Pamela, adored grandfather of Emily, Katie, Sophie, and Gemma.

 

He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, sons-in-law Gerry Loftus, Johnny Carlin, daughter-in-law Maria, his sisters and brothers, in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Wednesday evening 15th January from 5:30 until 7:00pm.

 

Funeral will arrive to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina for Requiem Mass on Thursday morning 16th January at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

 

John’s funeral mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
