Peacefully surrounded by his family at his daughter Ann Marie’s residence.

Predeceased by his wife Ann, parents Annie & Thomas, brothers Matty, Dick, Alfie, Leo & Eamonn and sister Gretta.

John will be very sadly missed by his sons Sean and Thomas, daughter Ann Marie, grandchildren Jonathan, Vivienne, Emma, Pierce, Laoise, Niamh, Eoin and Ruairí, great-grandchildren Tara and Beauden, daughters-in-law Helena and Kathleen, son-in-law Kenny, brother Joe, sisters Maureen and Sheila, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday from 3pm and Friday from

12 noon. Removal on Saturday afternoon at 1pm to arrive at St. Catherine’s Church, Ballapousta for Funeral Mass on at 1:30pm which can be viewed on https://www.moxleyproductions.com/vidfuneral-home.

Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
