John Flynn

John passed away suddenly at his home on the 17th of January, 2025. Predeceased by his father Oliver, his mother Vera and his sister Marian.

Beloved husband of Mary and cherished father of Brendan, David, and Marian. Adored grandfather of Layla, Emily, Max and Cian. Son-in-law Declan, Brendan’s partner Annu and David’s partner Olivia. He will be deeply missed by his loving sisters Jackie Montica (Canada), Fiona O’Sullivan (Kenmare) and Carmel McCarthy (Annascaul), his brothers Gerry (Leixlip), Edward (Mullingar) and Michael (Navan), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

John will repose at Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Sunday the 19th of January, from 4pm to 6pm. Private Removal on Monday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.
