John late of An Garda Siochána, passed away peacefully on the 14th of October surrounded by his loving family.Dearly loved husband of Paula, much loved father of John and Jim, devoted and best grandad to Marcus and Izzy and an amazing father-in-law to Ivi and Lizzie.He will be sadly missed by brothers Paddy, Frank, Jimmy and Joe, sisters Ann and Teresa his former colleagues of An Garda Siochána as well as his extended family and friends. John is pre-deceased by his mother Nelly, his father Seán and sister Mary.

John will be reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal Friday at 1.00pm to McCrea's Cremation Chapel in the adjoining building for Cremation Service, for all those who wish to attend. Those unable to attend the Service can be viewed by clicking on McCrea's Cremation Chapel (viewing at time of service only)

John will always be remembered for his kindness towards everyone he met while serving the community, his sense of humour, quick wit and loudness and for his devotion to those dearest to him.
